Engaging the public in citizen science by encouraging collaborative research to generate new science-based knowledge.
The project is the brainchild of Dr. RamÃrez-Andreotta. Together, we worked with developers to create a smart website that focuses on ease-of-use by guiding the user through a simple 4-step process.
Branding focused on creating a product that is approachable and useful. The interface uses color intentionally to identify counties that offer the program. The project received a $2.26M NSF grant for it’s successful work in citizen science.
